Automatic calculation without manual entry

The F/ADC-2000 unit links aircraftsystems and your GPS receiver, automatically calculatingfuel used, TAS,trueair temperature, OAT, barometric pressure correction, densityaltitude and wind aloft without manual data entry. Thisinformation is totally dynamic in that it is based on real-timewind aloft and fuel flow.

The F/ADC-2000 provides high resolution altitude managementin ten-foot increments to 35,000 feet to drive the verticalNAV feature of new generation GPS receivers for approaches.

In addition, F/ADC-2000 pressure altitude data is automaticallyused by most GPS manufacturers to substitute for thefourth satelliteif it is not in range to compute three-dimensional postion. Thisprovides 24-hour, 3D position accuracy with only threesatellites, without manual entry of altitude.
