Five Function Indicator
The model 650 is a digital readout for the blind encoding altimeter, which
reads altitudes from minus 1,000 to plus 30,700 in one hundred foot
increments. It displays the altitude your transponder is reporting to ATC,
and becomes an emergency altimeter back up.
