SSD 120 Altitude Encoder | 50,000 ft, Two RS232 & One RS485 Output

The SSD120-(XX)NEH-RS is an all solid-state Altitude Digitizer/Encoder. This device provides a rugged and reliable means of converting air pressure measurement to ICAO parallel data for Pressure Altitude Transmission.

The SSD120-(XX)NEH-RS also provides altitude data on Two asynchronous RS232 and one RS485 output. The serial data protocol is selectable and is commonly used to provide pressure altitude data to ADS-B, GPS, Auto-Pilots, Transponders and other navigation devices.

This Altitude Digitizer/Encoder (Alternate Part# 50NEH-RS) has an altitude range from -1,000 ft to 50,000 ft.

Features:

  • Two RS-232 compliant data outputs
  • One RS-485 compliant data output
  • Serial ports may be installer configured to transmit separate data protocols
  • (message & baud rate)
  • One ICAO pressure altitude grey code output
  • FAA TSO-C88a and EASA ETSO-C88a Approved
  • Tested and Conforming to MIL-STD-704E and RTCA DO-160E
  • Power, ground and data I/O lines are all provided on a hermetically sealed MILDTL-38999 Series III cylindrical connector
