The N4-15 VOR/LOC antenna has a low drag balanced loop design for use on high performance aircraft where aerodynamic drag must be kept to a minimum. The N4-15 antenna provides increased range and reduced barring error. Rugged construction provides erosion resistance; a flush fiberglass housing improves aerodynamics; and a foam-filled assembly ensures maximum durability.
The N4-15 is designed for new aircraft installations, but can also be installed as a retrofit when dual-antenna capability is required.
This VOR/LOC balance loop blade antenna (Alternate Part# DM N4-15) has two TNC output connectors, an eight-hole mounting pattern, two-grounding studs, and a white finish.
