About American Aviation Parts

American Aviation Parts LC is a U.S. aircraft-parts supplier based in Tempe, Arizona. We help pilots, aircraft owners, A&P mechanics, FBOs, flight schools, and repair stations find and source the parts they need to keep their aircraft flying — from routine consumables to hard-to-find avionics, airframe, and engine components.

How we’re organized

Legal name: American Aviation Parts LC, an Arizona limited liability company. (In Arizona, “LC” is the statutory abbreviation for a limited liability company — equivalent to “LLC” in other U.S. states. See Arizona Revised Statutes § 29-3201.)

What we sell

We carry parts and consumables across the major aircraft systems:

  • Avionics — GPS, communication and navigation radios, transponders, audio panels, ADS-B equipment, autopilots, instruments, antennas, and accessories
  • Airframe — control-surface components, landing gear, hardware, fasteners, sheet, tubing, structural parts
  • Engine — cylinders, magnetos, starters, alternators, ignition, exhaust, filters, gaskets, oil
  • Cabin and interior — lighting, oxygen, seat hardware, interior trim, placards
  • Pilot supplies, batteries, fluids, lubricants, and consumables

We source from major manufacturers and PMA holders through authorized distribution channels. Our authorized-dealer status varies by brand. For an up-to-date list of brands please see our Manufacturer Authorizations page. Brands not listed there are sold as an independent reseller through authorized distribution; all parts are genuine and supplied with the same documentation expected for that part number.

How we work

  • Traceability matters. We supply standard documentation (8130-3 / FAA Form 8130-3 where applicable, manufacturer Certificate of Conformance, or material certifications) with parts that require it. If you need traceability paperwork for a specific order, please ask before purchase — we will confirm what is available before you commit.
  • Real people, real hours. Our customer-service line is answered by staff in our Tempe office during business hours; AOG calls outside business hours are answered by on-call staff.
  • Honest stock status. Inventory shown on the website reflects what we have on hand or can source. For high-value or critical items, we recommend calling to confirm availability and lead time before placing an order.
  • Clear policies. Our Shipping, Return, Terms & Conditions, and Privacy policies are written in plain English and disclose every fee, every exclusion, and every timeline up front. If you find something unclear, please tell us so we can fix it.
