This configuration module is used with the KGP 560/580 Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System. It provides storage of required operational parameters that include the aircraft interface and functionality definitions specific to the installed aircraft.
- Module resides in the KGP 560/860 mating connector back shell
- Module must have the aircraft-specific equipment configuration ID string written to it before the KGP 560/860 is operational
- Configuration Module programming is completed via the RS-232 port connected to a PC running WinViews
