SAE AS22759 wire is a fluoropolymer–insulated, single-conductor wire offering excellent performance for a variety of military aerospace and commercial applications. It has high performance and reliability in severe wind and moisture prone (SWAMP) zones such as engine nacelles as well as areas requiring overload stability, low smoke emission and fire resistance, such as aircraft cabins.
SAE AS22759/16 has a tin-plated, copper conductor with a temperature rating of 135°C. Extruded ETFE insulation provides excellent performance in extreme commercial or aerospace functions where tight dimensions, radiation, chemicals, or solvents are encountered.
This M22759/16 tefzel hook-up wire (Alternate Part# 18G/16-3) has a tin-plated, copper, 18 AWG conductor with extruded ETFE insolation, and colored orange.
