The SSD120-(XX)N-RS Series Nano Altitude Encoders are all solid-state devices that measure air pressure and convert the measurements into the ICAO parallel data for pressure altitude transmission via ICAO pressure altitude Gray Code output. These Nano encoders also provide altitude data to ADS-B, GPS, transponders, autopilots, and other navigational devices with two asynchronous RS232 and one RS-485 outputs for which the serial data protocol can be individually selected. The user has multiple resolution settings to choose from. The RS version can be set to 10-feet or 100-feet resolution.
This Nano Altitude Encoder (Alternate Part# 30N-RS) includes:
- -1,000 ft — 30,000 ft altitude range
- Altitude Digitizer with two RS232 and one RS-485 output channels
- 10-foot and 100-foot resolutions available.
- 15 Pin D-subminiature mating connector receptacle (1 ea.)
- 15 Pin Connector Back Shell (2 ea.)
- 15 Pin D-subminiature mating connector plug (1 ea.)
- 1/8 NPT Nylon tube fitting (1 ea.)
- 1â„4-inch Tube Polypropylene tee fitting (1 ea.)
