The KA 51B slaving accessory consists of three individual circuit functions; slave metering, auto-manual slave switching, and flux valve compensation. Slave meter current is generated in the KG 102A directional gyro and represents the difference between the existing aircraft heading and the heading displayed on the KI 525A indicator.
Version 071-01242-0012 includes 28V NVG lighting, black bezel, and horizontal mounting.
- Displays slaving error between the KMT-112 and KI-525A by means of small meter movement
- Magnetic Azimuth Transmitter compensation outputs for North/South and East/West correction
- Clockwise and counterclockwise manual slew signals to the KG-102A
- Slave/free gyro mode logic signal to KG-102A
