TheIC-F3021S 41 is the simplified version of the IC-F3021, and istherefore without a keypad (leaving only the 4 upper keys fornavigation). Comes with Drop-in Trickle Charger (BC-171).

The rounded compact* design fits comfortablyin your palm and is light-weight** forcarrying around all day. The large size programmablebuttons have ample button pitchto allow blind touch operation.

IP54 dust-protection andsplash resistance

The IC-F3021 series meets IP54 requirementsfor dust-protection and splash resistance.The aluminum die-cast chassis is thebasis for this rugged construction, allowinglong-life usage in various environments.

128 memory channels andbutton control memory channel

The IC-F3021 series has 128 memory channelswith 8 zones. Memory channel selectioncan be made easily with the up/down buttonslaid out below the PTT button.

Use the built-in 2-Tone, 5-Tone, CTCSSand DTCS capabilities as standard to setup your own talk groups and quiet stand-bywhen others are talking.

Multiple 2-Tone, Multiple 5-Tone

Up to ten 2-Tone and eight 5-Tone codescan be decoded on a channel. When amatched tone is received, the followingitems are programmable for each code.

Lithium-Ion battery standard

The IC-F3021 series comes with the BP-232NLi-Ion battery pack as standard. Li-Ion batterieshave virtually no memory issues andallows you flexible charging.Optional battery case BP-240 provides a convenient back up and greatreassurance in an emergency.

8 programmable buttons

The [P0][P3], [__], [__], [Monitor] and [Red]buttons are programmable to meet specificneeds. The [Red] button on the top panelcan be assigned as an emergency trigger.

Alphanumeric display

The 8-character alphanumeric displayshows channel, zone, tone code and scanningchannel names on the display. A separaterow of operational icons indicatebattery, signal strength, RX/TX and otherradio conditions.

Wide frequency coverage

The IC-F3021 series covers a wide frequencyrange with one version (136174,400470, 450512 (520) MHz). Wide and narrowchannel spacing (25, 12.5kHz) is programmableper channel.

Optional board

The IC-F3021 series has a 40-pin expansionsocket for adding an optional board. Avoice scrambler provides secure conversationand the DTMF decoder features hasANI capability, depending on the installedboard.

Optional VOX headset

With one of Icoms optional headsets andPTT/VOX unit, the IC-F3021 series offershands-free operation.
