The AV-200 is intended for the use with an ELT (Emergency Locator Transmitter) for general aviation. It is a passive two frequency wire whip antenna, designed for low-speed aircraft (up to 250 knots). 

This antenna (Alternate Part# AV-200-B) is the same as the AV-200, but is black in color.
