The Model 3000-10 (AF)(AP) ELT has been updated to meet the requirements of RTCA DO-183 for emergency locator transmitters. The Model 3000 ELT is interchangeable with existing units in form, fit and function. The standard whip antenna and coaxial cable, previous supplied with the model 3000, remains interchangeable with the newer 3000-10 & 3000-11 models while other serviceable components may remain in use with the this current model transmitter. The remote switch may use already existing wiring and installation requires minimal panel space. The 3000-10 and 3000-11 transmitters incorporate an alkaline battery pack that is specifically designed to endure extreme short-term, thermal variations which meet the mechanical shock requirements of RTCA DO-183.
This Model 3000-10 (Alternate Part# 3000-10B) includes the ELT unit and battery only.
