The DM N4-17 VOR/LOC/Glide slope antenna is designed for general aviation, commercial, and military aircraft that operate up to Mach 1.0. DM N4-17 is designed to provide a low-cost, lightweight, and low-drag antenna for state-of-the-art avionics. This antenna's performance parameters exceeds environmental specifications of MIL-5400 Class 3 equipment; therefore, it can be installed on single engine to jet engine aircraft. The balanced loop design of the DM N4-17/N assures an omnidirectional radiation pattern at the horizon to obtain maximum signal for VOR and area navigation which provides more receiving distance and reliable system performance.
This VOR/LOC/GS antenna (Alternate Part# DM N4-17/N) consists of two elements with one output (DM N4-17-1/N), one coupler (DM N4-17-2), cables (DM U212-1), and gaskets (DM U235-1). This system supports VOR, LOC, and GS frequencies.
