The KNI 415 radar altimeter indicator converts the Analog Altitude from the KRA 405/KRA 405B Receiver/Transmitter to a visible indication of the aircraft altitude. The indicator uses a fixed dial and a servo driven pointer to display the correct altitude by balancing the analog altitude and the voltage to the servo. A decision height annunciator provides a visual alarm when the selected decision height is reached.
Version 066-03031-0004 has a black bezel with 28V NVG (night vision goggle) lighting.
