Skye Avionics drop cords are designed to withstand rough use and keep on working. These drop cords are ergonomically designed and can be operated by either hand with strategically placed volume control and switches. The switches are long-life switches that are rated for 1,000,000 mechanical and electrical cycles. The volume control is a sealed container and panel sealed to IP67 specifications. It is rated for 50,000 cycles and 50 g’s in three successive shocks in three directions. These drop cords are designed for forestry, air ambulance, search and rescue, police, tactical, surveillance, ground crew, and tourism applications.
