The KTR 909B is a lightweight and compact UHF communication transceiver that offers the flexibility to meet pilots specific communication requirements. With two-way AM voice communications, the unit is specially designed for international government, military, and paramilitary applications. This all-solid-state unit accesses frequencies from 225 MHz to 399.975 MHz in 25 kHz increments, and is specifically designed for low maintenance and high reliability. The KTR 909B offers full-time guard frequency (243.000 MHz) monitoring via a dedicated second receiver. An ARINC 429 bus interface allows control from an FMS, Radio Management Unit (RMU), or Integrated Avionics System.
