The digital KFS 586A serves as the control/display unit for the KDF 806 automatic direction finder. Equipped with 9 non-volatile pilot programmable frequency channels, tandem configuration for cockpit applications and/or an additional channel mode. When used with the KNS 660 system frequency management capabilities allow tuning into both the automatic direction finder and the flight management system from a single instrument.
Version 071-01284-0009 has black bezel, 28 volt lighting, standard lens, With MODE/ON/OFF/VOLUME controls.
