General
Can I check out without creating an account?
Yes — guest checkout is fully supported: complete your purchase with just a shipping address and payment method, no account required. Creating a free account is optional and lets you track order status, view order history, and reorder previously purchased parts in one click — you can add an account before checkout or any time afterward.
Certification
Do your parts come with 8130-3 traceability?
Many certified parts ship with an FAA 8130-3 Authorized Release Certificate documenting their status; others ship with an EASA Form 1 or a manufacturer Certificate of Conformance, depending on the source. What paperwork ships with a given part is shown on its own listing — see our Traceability page for what each type covers.
What do the condition codes mean?
Our condition codes describe how a part reached its current state: NE/NS/FN means new, OH means overhauled and restored to service limits, SV means serviceable and inspected fit-for-use, RP means repaired to correct a specific defect, and AR means as-removed with no inspection performed. See the Glossary for every code's full definition, including what paperwork typically accompanies it.
Shipping & AOG
What is AOG and do you expedite?
AOG means aircraft-on-ground — a part failure or shortage that is keeping an aircraft from flying, which is the highest-priority sourcing situation in the industry. We offer expedited handling and a dedicated AOG hotline for grounded-aircraft emergencies, so you can get moving again without waiting in a general support queue.
Do you ship hazmat / dangerous goods?
Yes — we ship hazardous materials and dangerous goods by ground-only eligible carrier services, with the applicable dangerous-goods handling fee added at checkout. Lithium batteries, aerosols, and similarly regulated items ship according to IATA and DOT packaging and labeling rules, which can affect available shipping methods and delivery time for that item.
Returns
Can I return an aviation part?
You can return most aviation parts within 30 days of delivery if the item is unopened and has not been installed. Parts that have been installed, powered on, opened hazmat, or separated from an attached 8130-3 certificate are non-returnable, because their airworthiness status can no longer be confirmed once removed — see our Returns policy for the full process.
Finding parts
How do I search by part number?
Our search tolerates dashes, spaces, and case, so "AB-1234", "ab1234", and "AB 1234" all find the same part without you needing to match the exact formatting on a dataplate or catalog. You can also filter results by your specific aircraft make and model to narrow a long results list down to parts that are actually relevant to you.
Will this part fit my aircraft?
Use the Aircraft Finder to filter the catalog by your aircraft's make and model, which narrows results to parts commonly associated with that airframe. Always verify the exact part number against your aircraft's own Illustrated Parts Catalog before installing anything, since fitment can vary by serial number, modification status, and equipment configuration.
International
Do you sell internationally?
Many parts are subject to U.S. export controls under ITAR and EAR, so where you can ship depends on the specific part and destination. By ordering you certify your eligibility to receive the item; every order is screened for export-control eligibility and destination restrictions, and one that does not clear screening is not accepted and nothing is charged.
