The KDC 222 Air Data Computer incorporates fours sensors to provide air data and acceleration information to the KCP 220 Flight Computer. The altitude and airspeed sensors are used to tailor the flight control system to the aircraft's response based on airspeed (scheduling).Â
- Vertical acceleration sensor is used with Altitude Hold modes
- Lateral accelerator sensor provides information for yaw damper computationsÂ
- A monitor can be use to disconnect the autopilot if the vertical accretion exceeds a set limits
