Aircraft Avionics Parts

Certified aircraft avionics touch three regulatory worlds: the TSO that approves the box, the STC or AML that approves installation in your airframe, and the FAR that governs use (Part 91 IFR currency, ADS-B Out mandate, ELT requirements). We stock avionics consumables and support parts — antennas, harnesses, racks, trays, mounting hardware — and we coordinate avionics-shop work when a full install is needed.

ADS-B Out

The 2020 mandate is in effect. All US Class A, B, and C airspace (and the Mode C veil) requires ADS-B Out. Common compliance paths:

  • Garmin GTX 335 / GTX 345 — 1090ES transponder with integrated ADS-B Out, optional ADS-B In.
  • Uavionix tailBeacon / skyBeacon — UAT (978 MHz) solutions that replace the tail or wingtip nav light.
  • Stratus ESG — another proven 1090ES transponder path.

Panel families

  • Garmin — GTN 650/750 GPS-nav-com, GNS series (legacy but supported), GTX transponders, GFC 500/600 autopilots, G3X and G5 primary flight displays, G1000 integrated cockpit.
  • Avidyne — IFD 540/440 GPS-nav-com, AMX 240 audio panel, DFC 90 autopilot, Entegra PFD (Cirrus legacy).
  • Bendix/King — KX-155/KX-165 nav-com, KMA audio panel family, KLN/KMD GPS (legacy), KFC autopilots. Support continues under BendixKing/Honeywell.
  • Dynon, Aspen, Sandel — primary flight display options, some certified via AML-STC on legacy panels.

Support parts we stock

  • Antennas (VOR/LOC, GS, nav, com, GPS, transponder, ADS-B, ELT).
  • Coax and RG-400 cable, N-type and TNC connectors, splicing kits.
  • Intercom harnesses, headset jacks.
  • Avionics trays and rack hardware.
  • Static system fittings and pitot-static leak-check tools.

Ordering and installation

Avionics installs above basic consumables almost always require an avionics shop. We supply parts; your shop supplies the labor and paperwork (Form 337 when required). Contact us with any sourcing questions.
