The KAC 502 Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning Systems Module (EGPWS) allows the KMD 540/550/850 to show terrain on multi-function displays (MFD). The EGPWS provides tarrian display, situational awareness, terrain alerting and warning, and obstacle alerting to the pilot to reduce the possibility of Controlled Flight into Terrain (CFIT).
The KAC 502 easily installs inside the case of a KMD 540/550/850: to add, simply unscrew and slide back the side panel.
