Description
A totally new configuration in barometric technology and the first of its kind anywhere. This barometer retains the traditional look of a standard aneroid barometer but provides you with digital accuracy in an analog format.
This barometer is temperature compensated and displays the current barometric reading with an accuracy of plus of +/- .5 of a millibar or +/- .02 of an inch of mercury throughout the expanded 2 inch scale. Using a highly sensitive digital pressure transducer the atmosphere pressure is read, this information is then processed and sent to a very high resolution stepper motor which displays the pressure reading in an analog format.
The barometer is ultra simple to adjust requiring only the touch of one button. This barometer is housed in a 14" steel case, finished in lacquered antique brass, with a 10 inch diameter dial. Accurate enough to register the smallest changes in pressure with a unique sliding magnetic index indicator to keep track of pressure trends. The two inch scale will provide very noticeable changes in pressure. Requires 2 AAA alkaline batteries which are included.

Frequently asked
Does the Electronic Barometer/Antique brass finish EB14 / COM-04-HB include certification paperwork?
This item is supplied as "Condition disclosed" rather than with full 8130-3 traceability — normal for some condition codes, and it does not mean the part is unusable, only that the paperwork profile differs. Check the listing for exactly what documentation is included, and request any available records before you purchase if your installation requires them.
What condition is this part?
This part is listed in condition NE — Condition disclosed. Condition codes describe how a part reached its current state (for example new, overhauled, serviceable, repaired, or as-removed) and directly affect what paperwork ships with it and how it should be installed. See the Glossary for the full definition of every condition code we use.
How fast does it ship?
This item is currently on backorder, meaning demand has temporarily outpaced our stock and a new shipment is inbound from the manufacturer or our supplier. Request a quote and we will confirm the current estimated delivery window before you commit. If your aircraft is grounded, AOG expedited handling is available on request.
Can I return it?
You may return this item within 30 days of delivery if it is unopened, uninstalled, and in its original packaging. Items that have been installed, powered on, opened hazmat, or separated from an attached 8130-3 tag are non-returnable because their airworthiness status can no longer be confirmed once removed from the part. See our Returns policy for the full process.
