Description
The Telex Airman 850 ANR headset is an ultra-lightweight commercial headset that dramatically improves the clarity of communication and does not require batteries or panel power—active noise reduction is powered by microphone bias.
Using the latest in ANR circuitry to target and reduce wind noise in jet cockpits, the Airman 850 provides up to 12 decibels (dB) of noise attenuation between 100 and 2000 Hz. It also features a miniature, amplified, noise-canceling electret microphone that provides superior 400Hz hum rejection. The flexible boom rotates 320° and can be worn on either side of the head.
The Airman 850 is available for Boeing, Airbus, and other airframes and does not require specialized intercom adapters. Approved for aircraft use under FAA TSO-C57a and C58a.
This Airman 850 ANR headset (Alternate Part# 301317-003) is double-sided, with a dual PJ-068 and PJ-055 connector, and has a 600Ω impedance.

Frequently asked
Does the Airman 850 Headset/Wired in series, 600 ohms, 301317-003 include certification paperwork?
This item is supplied as "Condition disclosed" rather than with full 8130-3 traceability — normal for some condition codes, and it does not mean the part is unusable, only that the paperwork profile differs. Check the listing for exactly what documentation is included, and request any available records before you purchase if your installation requires them.
What condition is this part?
This part is listed in condition NE — Condition disclosed. Condition codes describe how a part reached its current state (for example new, overhauled, serviceable, repaired, or as-removed) and directly affect what paperwork ships with it and how it should be installed. See the Glossary for the full definition of every condition code we use.
How fast does it ship?
This item is in stock and ships promptly, usually the same or next business day once your order and payment are confirmed. Exact transit time depends on your shipping method and destination and is shown at checkout. If your aircraft is grounded, AOG expedited handling is available on request — no phone tree required.
Can I return it?
You may return this item within 30 days of delivery if it is unopened, uninstalled, and in its original packaging. Items that have been installed, powered on, opened hazmat, or separated from an attached 8130-3 tag are non-returnable because their airworthiness status can no longer be confirmed once removed from the part. See our Returns policy for the full process.
