The PS 550 is a Control Unit for use with the MST 67A Enhanced Mode S Transponder. It contains all controls required for transponder operation including TEST, STANDBY, ON (transponder), ALTITUDE and IDENT. The PS 550 will also display the selected 4096 ATC code and current mode of operation in the display window.
Version 071-01619-0201 has a gray face an NVG (night vision goggle) display and ON/OFF switch. Compatible with dual transponder operation.
