The KTA 810 Traffic Awareness Unit is a Traffic Advisory System (TAS) processing unit.
- TAS Active traffic surveillance system TSO certified to C-147
- Operates using an active Mode C interrogation technique
- Provides same type of traffic advisories as TCAS for air transport and corporate aircraft (Note: Cannot be certified for TCAS I or II applications)
- Uses dual directional antennas in an active system that presents the position and altitudes of up to 30 intruder aircraft
- Displays traffic equipped with a Mode S and/or Mode A/C transponder
- Compatible for display on most modern multifunction displays (MFD)
