The KFS 598A control unit provides two way voice communications from 118.000 MHz to 135.975 MHz in 25 kHz increments. The control unit may be panel or console mounted and features a gas discharge displays with automatic dimming.
The KFS 598A is an optional replacement for the KFS 598 in single control unit
installations, and is required for tandem control unit installations or Frequency Management applications.
Version 071-01282-0086 has a frequency range up to 136.975MHz, black bezel, 1 layer NVG, with TEST control only.
